Johns Manville is hiring a Day Shift Quality Technician to conduct daily QA tests and verify raw materials against specs. This temp-to-hire role requires familiarity with HMIS/MSDS, reading production schedules and maintaining compliance with UL/FM requirements.
You will train new QA staff, perform calibration checks, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining records and safety standards. The position includes forklift operation certification and LTCT training as part of responsibilities.

The base hourly rate for this position is $28.24.

This will be a temp-to hire opportunity.
Starting wage for first 90 days will be: $26.00/ Hour, will go up to $28.24/ hour after you successfully covert over.
Schedule: 6AM-6PM (3,2-2,3) Schedule * Off Every Other Weekend
Conduct daily QA tests to ensure finished products meet roofing systems finished product specs. Also, ensure raw materials meet purchasing specs and are in compliance with UL/FM requirements. Maintain all records and interact with UL/FM regulators (inspections).
