MS Companies is seeking a hands‑on Quality Team Lead to support quality inspection operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves coordinating daily assignments, training, monitoring quality results, and serving as a point of contact for employees and customers during the shift.

The position requires 2–3 years of leadership in manufacturing, experience with quality systems, and strong communication. It is a full‑time, 2nd shift role with a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment.
• Quality inspection, containment, sorting, rework, or production experience.
• Ability to understand work instructions, inspection criteria, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
• Experience training, coaching, and supporting employees.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement.
• Basic computer and data‑entry skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside quality inspectors and lead by example.

• Review work instructions and confirm inspections are completed correctly.
• Train employees, answer process questions, and provide coaching.
• Monitor inspection results and communicate quality concerns or trends.

• Document and elevate attendance, performance, safety, or behavioral concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Salary Range: $21.00–$22.00 per hour depending on experience

Shift: 2nd Shift, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM

This person will work alongside the inspection team, coordinate daily assignments, assist with training, monitor quality results, and serve as a point of contact for employees and the customer during the shift.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment

• Customer‑facing experience in a manufacturing environment

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Work alongside quality inspectors and lead by example

Physical and Environment Requirements

• Ability to visually identify defects in the color, shape, size, or texture of parts
• Ability to hear and recognize sounds in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit on concrete floors for up to 10–12 hours
• Ability to use stairs and perform reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and repetitive movements
• Ability to complete fine‑motor tasks requiring hand‑eye coordination
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work around noise and varying temperatures
