• Analyze data from various business and quality systems to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Co-op Timing and Duration: June 2027 through December 2027

Position Summary

The Quality Systems Co-Op will support a variety of Quality Systems initiatives, including project coordination, data analytics, reporting, process improvement, and system administration activities. The student will assist with maintaining project documentation, analyzing business and quality data, developing reports and dashboards, supporting system enhancements, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the organization. The intern shall support our quality group by building data analytics, report generation, and visualization apps. The right candidate shall exhibit skills of re‑designing our SharePoint web applications. This position is ideal for students interested in Project Management, Quality Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related disciplines seeking practical experience in a collaborative corporate environment.

Required Experience and Skills

Qualifications

• -Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• -Basic understanding of project management principles and project lifecycle concepts.
• -Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as Power BI.
• -Experience working with large datasets and data organization concepts.
• -Exposure to SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, or similar business applications.
• -Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
