Blood Bank of Alaska, Inc. is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join the Quality Assurance team at our Anchorage campus. This full-time role focuses on quality processes, regulatory compliance, and SOP enhancements to ensure the organization meets accrediting and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will conduct internal audits, investigations of occurrences, and support FDA and other external inspections, while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general safety and quality assurance policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Promoting organizational compliance with accrediting agency, state and federal regulations.
• Managing occurrence programs and performing investigations for occurrences.
• Managing and performing internal audits and facilitating SOP changes.
