Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Global QMS Quality Manager for the Aerospace, Defense & Marine unit. You will oversee the AD&M quality system, drive continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional initiatives to meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include implementing the QMS, delivering training, and leading internal audits across TE sites. The role requires extensive SAP QM experience and certifications, with PMP and Six Sigma/Lean valued.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business.
  • Significant experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive SAP QM module knowledge.
  • Project management skills; PMP preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, IATF16949, and AS9145 certifications.
  • Proficient in quality tools: 8D, FMEA, 5Y, FAI, PPAP & APQP.
  • Proven Six Sigma and Lean experience.
  • Solid understanding of change control and regulatory/customer compliance.
  • Strategic mindset with leadership support experience.

  • Identify gaps and deploy new/updated procedures, supported by training to foster a zero-defect culture.
  • Drive adoption of relevant standards, customer requirements, and SAP Quality Management.
  • Liaise with auditing organizations, regulatory authorities, plants, and customers.
  • Support and execute the internal audit process to ensure compliance to relevant standards.
  • Implement and enhance the QMS in line with certification and customer requirements, including change management planning.
  • Develop, deliver, and verify the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Drive SAP adoption for Quality Management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory certifications, TE Global QMS/1AD&M, and customer requirements through consistent procedures.
  • Identify gaps and partner with site teams to develop solutions, improving COPQ and customer complaint metrics.
  • Facilitate and lead on-site and remote audits across TE sites.
  • Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement.

Job Overview

The Global QMS Quality Manager is a key role within the Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit, responsible for managing and overseeing the AD&M quality system in alignment with the quality strategy to drive world-class business performance. In this role, you will:

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $134,200-167,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
