Job summary

Gates Corporation is seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to lead the QMS, manage audits, and promote continual improvement across the organization. The role involves coordinating audits, maintaining documentation, and driving corrective actions in alignment with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, while supporting Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.

As a member of our global team, you will monitor customer requirements, prepare KPI data, and participate in management reviews to ensure sustained quality

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering or equivalent with quality/manufacturing focus.
• 3–5 years in automotive quality systems.
• Experience with VDA 6.3/6.5 audits.
• Familiar with APQP, PPAP, AMEF and MSA.
• Internal auditor for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Coordinate internal and supplier audits and corrective actions.
• Prepare performance data for Management Review meetings.
• Generate KPI reports on PPM, audit results, and COPQ.
• Lead a small team and provide manufacturing quality training.
• Promote risk-based thinking and preventive actions.
• Support customer visits and quality system assessments.
• Monitor updates to standards and CSR requirements.
