Job summary

Kress Corporation, a leader in specialty transport carrier manufacturing, seeks a Quality Systems Coordinator to drive ISO 9001 compliance and the effective deployment of Quality Strategies across the organization. You will collaborate with directors to close quality gaps, train staff, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in steel, construction, and mining equipment sectors.

Qualifications

• 2-Year Associates Degree or equivalent experience
• ISO 9001 expertise
• 2 years' experience working with ISO 9001 systems
• Trained Quality Management System Auditor with process-based auditing experience
• Aptitude to work with all levels within an organization
• Demonstrated Conflict resolution skills
• Proven Facilitation skills
• Proven investigation skills and techniques
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Ability to focus on Processes and Process Management
• Effective communications skills
• Proven analytical skills
• Demonstrated non-authoritative leadership skills and a collaborative approach
• Commitment to quality
• Strong computer skills and aptitude

Responsibilities

• Work with Department Directors to develop and implement processes aligning with the quality vision and close strategic quality gaps
• Conduct training and communication forums to ensure effective implementation of quality processes
• Act as a role model for Quality Improvement and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Coordinate/lead projects to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement performance metrics analysis for quality programs and communicate results
• Monitor and report on progress of continuous improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with Directors to identify simple, tangible quality metrics
• Facilitate investigations and close system gaps identified in audits
• Lead a team of managers to oversee the Quality Management System performance
• Support external audits and address any resulting gaps
• Plan and implement annual QMS Internal Audit schedule
• Conduct internal audits and train additional internal auditors

QUALITY SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

Kress is looking for a full-time Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team in the development of specialized industrial equipment for steel, construction, and mining industries.

The Quality Systems Coordinator is to be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and the effective implementation of Quality Strategies and Systems across the entire corporation.

Responsibilities -

• Work with Department Directors to developing and implement processes which align with the quality vision and focus on closing strategic quality gaps
• Conduct training and communication forums to ensure effective implementation and utilization of the quality processes across the entire corporation
• Acting as a role model for Quality Improvement, identifying and scoping opportunities for process improvements in the quality system and effectively presenting them for implementation at the management level
• Coordinating/leading specialized projects to effectively implement continuous improvement projects
• Development and implementation of performance metrics analysis related to quality programs, processes, tools and capabilities, communicating the results to the stakeholders and ensuring that priorities are addressed in the Management Review
• Monitoring and tracking continuous improvement initiatives and communicating the results on progress to stakeholders in the Management Review
• Coordinating with Department Directors to identify simple, tangible and practical quality metrics
• Facilitating investigations and stewarding the effective closure of system gaps as identified through internal or external audits
• Leading a team of functional Managers to steward the overall performance of the Quality Management System
• Supporting the external audit process and leading the resultant gap investigation and closure
• Planning and implementing the annual QMS Internal Audit schedule as tools to drive continual improvement across the entire corporation
• Conduct internal audits
• Train/coordinate additional internal auditors to conduct internal audits

Qualifications -
