Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA is seeking a Quality System Support Technician to ensure non-conforming products are stopped in production and not distributed to customers.

The position supports a night shift 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with a base rate of $24.85 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential and training on the 1st shift as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections during production.
• Perform equipment calibrations and workstation audits.
• Create and maintain quality control documents and reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with production to ensure quality standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Position Description

The Quality System Support Technician will help to ensure that non-conforming products do not continue through the production process and are not distributed to customers.

Hours - 11p - 7a (Sunday - Thursday)
Rate - $24.85 Plus Shift differential - $1.50
** Ability to train on 1stshift

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections throughout production, including in-process and final inspections.
• Perform equipment calibrations and perform workstation audits.
• Create and maintain quality control documents and reports
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend solutions
• Collaborate with production team to ensure quality standards are met
• Other tasks assigned my management

Required Education & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, associate degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working within the Manufacturing industry or related experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Ability to use a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers
• Attention to detail
