Job summary

Cox Machine, Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee the Quality department in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing and machining setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field or equivalent work experience in aerospace.
• Minimum of 3 years of knowledge and experience in the Quality Assurance field.
• AS9100 knowledge and interpretation of customer specifications and quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Quality department to ensure delivery of high quality products.
• Provide training and development for all employees.
• Provide training as required in the quality system concepts, audit techniques, corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with other departments to ensure adherence to the Quality Management System and other compliance requirements.
• Collaborates with operations, leaders, purchasing, customer service and others to meet customer demand.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Supports regulatory and customer quality audits.
• Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects.
• Provide visibility to management of potential quality issues and input on Quality and Delivery performance.
• Works with Manufacturing and Quality Assurance personnel to perform in-process review and ensure best practices are followed.
• Reviews organizational policies and procedures, communicating updates and changes.
