Camaco LLC is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead a team of inspectors and technicians in a North Carolina plant. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards across purchased, in-process, and finished products to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities include coordinating controls such as APQP, SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem solving, supporting IATF 16949 activities, and driving continuous improvement on the plant floor.
The Quality Supervisor plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products. Supervisory responsibilities for a group of employees involved in inspection and quality control procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved.

Plan and assign work of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction using plant quality assurance methods.
Review product quality issues through direct communication with Quality Department Employees to ensure their knowledge of changes in procedures and standards.
Respond immediately to quality concerns within or outside the plant addressing the defect, cause, resolution, and verification used to correct the concern (8D).
Provides support to IATF 16949 activities.
Serve as a cross functional team member with tasks such as Control Plan’s, FMEA’s, 8D’s and SPC.
Maintains an 8-D / corrective action log on supplier rejections.
Assists in maintaining the Gage room and the distribution of measuring equipment as well as calibration requirements.
Suggests and implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of the department or plant.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Maintains discipline, morale and harmonious relations among direct reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Associates Degree in Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
3 plus years of work experience in quality assurance.
Experience in automotive seating.

This position has supervisory responsibilities of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the hourly employees within the department.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting and on the plant floor.
