Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Quality Supervisor to oversee quality management systems, HACCP, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will lead teams, ensure conformance with FSSC 22000, SQF, USDA, and FDA standards, and drive CAPA and risk management programs while maintaining GMPs across operations in the United States (Puerto Rico).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science (Microbiology, Biology), Engineering, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in compliance-related areas.
• Experience leading teams, projects, or manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of quality standards in the food industry, incl. FSSC 22000, SQF, USDA, and FDA regulations.
• Knowledge of statistical processes, validation procedures, risk management, and CAPAs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality management systems and HACCP and new product validations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and GMPs.
• Monitor quality policies and risk control measures to ensure products meet established specifications and applicable food industry regulations.
• Integrate quality management systems and process control programs into manufacturing operations to reduce variability, waste, rework, and process deviations.
• Support cross-functional departments in maintaining effective quality management and food safety systems.
• Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees under direct supervision.
