Job summary

Maker's Pride in the United States (Illinois) seeks a Quality Compliance Supervisor to drive the implementation and sustainability of our compliance processes with minimal oversight. You will lead facility audits, assure SQF compliance, and partner with Commercialization to meet customer and company requirements.

Working with Quality, Engineering and Operations, you will define and operate processes to assure product quality, sanitary design, and regulatory adherence; manage CAPA, advise teams

Qualifications

• Four year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• SQF or ISO certification a plus.
• One to three years’ experience in product compliance and/or commercialization in the food industry, product development or similar discipline.
• Familiar with state and federal food processing regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure preparation of all audit material and information.
• Perform & maintain risk assessments for new materials coming into the factory.
• Manage compliance related CAPA (Corrective Action Preventive Action) closure.
• Manage commercialization projects from a quality perspective to assure specifications are met.
• Advise commercialization and production teams on process specifications, process capabilities, and customer requirements to include recipe and sensory.
• Oversee Document & Record Control programs.
• Support Quality Manager and commercialization teams in integrating customer and compliance requirements into internal specifications.
• May serve as primary Quality liaison on test, proof of concept, and initial production runs.
• May serve as primary resource to track action items developed via test runs through closure.
• Coordinate QA and Production training related to new product/process introductions.
• Support Quality Assurance department as necessary, in other areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Quality Compliance Supervisor will drive and lead implementation and the sustainability of the compliance process with minimal oversight. Responsible for facility audits, compliance to SQF, and partnering with Commercialization to ensure customer and Makers Pride requirements are met.

With Quality, Engineering, and Operations, define, implement and operate a comprehensive process to:

• Assure new product quality, specifications and regulations are met
• Assess new equipment/process designs to assure that product quality, sanitary design, food safety and compliance requirements are met
• Assure compliance to customer and agency requirements

Job Duties

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

Required Competencies & Knowledge

Knowledge of:

• Knowledge and experience with SAP preferred
• ASQ and/or SQF certification a plus

Minimum Qualifications

The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $58,962 - $88,444/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
