Job summary

DrinkPAK in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance from raw materials to finished goods. You will supervise QA technicians, review batch records, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with other departments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field, 3+ years in beverage QC, knowledge of GMPs, HACCP and food safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Beverage industry.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (21 CFR Part 117) and food safety.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; overtime required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct quality assurance technicians to enforce GMPs and quality policies.
  • Review Production Batch Records and manufacturing documents for compliance and record-keeping.
  • Review QC of raw materials, packaging components, labels, and finished products for specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Follow up with programs (GMPs, HACCP, Allergen Control, sanitation, etc.) for compliance.
  • Coordinate testing results and release/hold programs for materials; manage On Hold/rejected product workflow.
  • Investigate quality issues, including customer complaints, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Share knowledge with team and participate in audits and inspections; assist in policy implementation.

As part of this commitment, we offer:PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees AND their dependents, 100% paid by the Company.A cell phone stipendAnnual discretionary bonus401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and moreRESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise and direct quality assurance technicians who are responsible for enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices and other quality-related policies to meet product quality standards.Review Production Batch Records and other manufacturing-related documents to verify compliance and record keeping for all mandated manufacturing processes, quality checks, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities.Review quality control of raw materials, packaging components, labels, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications and regulatory standards.Follow up with implemented programs (GMPs, Good Hygiene Practices, HACCP, Allergen Control, cleaning and Sanitation, Pest Control, Equipment Calibration, Organic Certification, etc.) to ensure compliance by all employees and other personnel in the manufacturing facility.Assist in coordinating testing results involving finished products, raw materials, and packaging components and the appropriate release and hold programs associated with these materials.Oversee the "On Hold" product program, including the status, release, and destruction of "Rejected" products.Assist in investigating and correcting quality-related issues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments.Make proactive recommendations and offering/presenting solutions to the Quality Systems & regulatory Compliance Department Management to improve quality and work efficiency.Share knowledge, skills, and information with other personnel in the Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance Department and across functional areas.Assist in implementing policies, operating procedures, quality systems, and programs that ensure proper testing, evaluation, inspection, and technical support to meet product quality standards.Participate in all regulatory, third-party party, and customer audits and inspections and corrective action response.Quality assurance technicians/auditors ensure good performance by mentoring, training, setting expectations, providing accountability, and performing evaluations.Maintain a fair and professional work environment that focuses on the business objectives but also balances quality of work-life factors for employees.Attend and participate in all appropriate meetingsPerform other duties as directed by the Quality Systems ManagementPlease note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
