Job summary

Armtec Defense Technologies in Camden, AR, is seeking a Quality Supervisor to ensure that inspection of product is performed safely and in accordance with customer and internal requirements. You will assign inspection staff and coordinate the flow of quality data across manufacturing processes.

The role reports to Production Manager and Quality Manager, collaborates with Quality Engineers and production teams, and leads LEAN/Operational Excellence efforts while maintaining ISO 9001 documentation

• Issue corrective actions and follow up on effectiveness.
• Lead LEAN initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliant systems and documentation.
• Assist in review/interpretation of technical data for lot performance and MRB.

Job Summary

Ensures that inspection of product is safely performed, in accordance with customer contract requirements and internal procedures. This is accomplished by appropriate assignment of inspection staff and the coordination of the flow of quality product and data throughout the manufacturing processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ability to identify & understand contractual requirements, product specifications, and company procedures.
• Coordinates with Quality Inspection staff in order to meet production requirements.
• Oversees product inspections and applicable documentation per customer requirements.
• Effectively supervises & trains Quality Inspection staff, within company policies and Operational Excellence values.
• Reviews quality problems with Engineering personnel and directs actions to correct discrepancies.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

• Three to Five years experience in the Quality/Supervisory field.
• Two years (min.) experience in a leadership role.
• 4-Year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Work Hours

• 4/10 Work Schedule – 40 hour week. Overtime as needed.
