Kovan Technology Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per drawings and plans in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience with inspection tools, root-cause analysis and supporting CAPA, FAI/PPAP, and customer approvals. Travel to customer sites may be required; US work authorization is mandatory.

Competenze

• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Hands-on experience with standard inspection/measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skill
• Good written and verbal English communication
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, including short notice
• US work authorization and valid drivers license required
• 2+ years manufacturing quality, inspection or QA experience
• Customer-facing quality support and problem-resolution experience
• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, Space, Oil amp; Gas, EnergyUtilities, Data Center, Industrial or Automotive manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 or API Q1
• Knowledge of GDamp;T
• Experience with CMM, surface roughness testers, hardness testers or thread inspection
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP or Quality software#Hiring

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday–Friday; overtime and weekend work as needed during containment

• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections using engineering drawings, specifications and inspection plans


• Inspect parts after machining, coating and kitting


• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore/thread gauges and go/no-go gauges


• Verify material certifications, heat numbers and part markings for full traceability
