Actalent seeks a Quality Specialist to join a growing quality team in Eau Claire, WI. The role blends hands-on floor support with investigations to uphold food safety, GMP compliance, and manufacturing quality standards.

You will partner with production, quality, and engineering to identify issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement. Onsite, contract-to-hire, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, food science, chemistry or related life science.
• 2+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, investigation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support environmental, hygiene, and GMP programs throughout the facility.
• Investigate quality events, deviations, and environmental monitoring findings.
• Perform root cause analyses and implement CAPAs.
• Conduct routine GMP audits and manufacturing floor inspections.
• Document investigations, findings, and quality improvement activities.
• Partner with QA Technicians, Engineers, and Operations teams to resolve issues.
• Support pest control, zoning, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs.
• Contribute to SOP updates and quality system improvements.

This highly visible position offers a mix of hands‑on floor support and investigation work, partnering closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify issues, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Conduct routine GMP audits and manufacturing floor inspections
• Document investigations, findings, and quality improvement activities

• Support pest control, zoning, sanitation, and environmental monitoring programs
• Contribute to SOP updates and quality system improvements

• Strong coaching and relationship‑building skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eau Claire, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.21 - $35.58/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
