Pexco in Asheboro, NC is seeking a Quality & Safety Manager to lead the site quality system, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

You will oversee ISO 9100 compliance, APQP/PPAP activities, first article inspection, PPAP submissions, and the plant SPC program, while directing quality and safety teams to ensure product conformance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Safety Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and safety management within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO9100 Quality Management System and ISO standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety compliance requirements.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, SPC, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve quality assurance manual and lead ISO9100 program oversight.
• Direct quality control objectives to ensure products meet standards.
• Oversee inspections (in-process, final) and non-conforming product handling.
• Lead corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Respond to customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with managers to manage quality documents and records.
• Participate in APQP review for new parts and PPAP submissions.
• Develop and champion plant SPC program.
