Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Quality and Safety Coordinator to support data centre operations by coordinating audits, safety inspections, incident follow-up, and corrective actions. You will ensure site standards and regulations are met while maintaining high-availability operations across site and regional levels.

The role combines safety program management with conducting on-site audits, preparing reports, and training staff and contractors to uphold strict safety controls and quality

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate internal quality and safety audits across live data centre operations and support areas.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard observations, and compliance checks for critical activities such as electrical work, LOTO, hot work, confined space, work at height, and material handling.
• Track non-conformances, incidents, near misses, and audit findings, then support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain audit logs, inspection records, action trackers, and compliance documentation.
• Support contractor safety oversight, including site onboarding, safe work controls, and verification of documentation.
• Partner with operations, facilities, project, and vendor teams to close findings and improve process reliability.
• Prepare reports, trends, and dashboards for management review and continuous improvement.
• Deliver or coordinate safety and quality awareness training for staff and contractors.
• Assist with policy, procedure, and form reviews to keep documentation current and aligned with site requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Quality and Safety Coordinator support mission‑critical data centre operations by coordinating quality audits, safety inspections, incident follow‑up, and corrective actions. The role helps ensure compliance with site standards, customer requirements, and applicable safety regulations while supporting reliable, high‑availability operations.

This role will combine managing the safety program at site and regional level as well as performing quality audits on site activities, both locally and in supporting Data Centre regions.

You will ensure safe operations are in place, processes are being followed and a clear plan is in place to remediate any gaps that are discovered in our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and coordinate internal quality and safety audits across live data centre operations and support areas.

Key Focus Areas will include:

• Electrical safety and energized work controls.
• Lockout/tagout and permit-to-work compliance.
• Incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action tracking
• Quality documentation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Experience in quality auditing, safety coordination, compliance, or critical facilities operations.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety processes and audit methodology.
• Ability to interpret standards, identify risk, and follow through on corrective actions.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and data-tracking skills.
• Clear communication and confidence working with operations teams, contractors, and leadership.

Preferred Experience:

• Data centre operations, facilities, or critical environment experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA-based safety practices and audit processes.
• Experience supporting active sites with high uptime and strict change control.
