Job summary

Leeco Steel is seeking a Quality & Safety Technician to support the Quality and Safety team in maintaining the company’s Quality Management System and safety programs. You will partner with cross-functional teams to promote continuous improvement, maintain documentation and audits, and support training initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; safety field degree preferred.
• Strong math, blueprint interpretation, and measurement skills.
• Ability to travel to other Leeco Steel sites as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with sales, warehouse, and inventory personnel regarding quality issues.
• Assist with internal safety or quality audits.
• Perform Quality Control on interpretation, inspection, and verification of cut parts at warehouse locations.
• Analyze and develop quality or safety procedures and facilitate training.
• Complete incident and accident reports in safety management system.
• Review and resolve customer complaints regarding products and services.
• Communicate and troubleshoot product quality issues to Quality Leadership.
