Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Quality/Risk Coordinator to support quality and risk functions across hospital operations. You will collaborate with administration, departments and medical staff to monitor patient care quality and drive continuous improvement within the hospital.

The role emphasizes partnership with leadership, documentation, data analysis, and action planning to uphold accreditation standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified according to state requirements.
• Quality and/or risk management experience, including performance improvement activities.
• Regulatory compliance and risk management experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director to assess regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Assist in writing corrective action plans and assessments (e.g., TJC PPR).
• Use current statistical tools to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining performance improvement activities.
• Handle daily risk management activities and compliance processes.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate care and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain documentation of performance improvement and Governing Body activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and generate reports using various applications.
• Maintain time review of hospital contract services provider log.
