Job summary

Avanos Medical seeks a Quality Systems Compliance Specialist to monitor regulatory changes and translate them into actionable quality and regulatory guidance across the organization. You will track FDA and global standards, assess impact on the QMS, and support cross-functional teams with regulatory intelligence.

The role emphasizes proactive horizon-scanning, document updates, and industry collaboration to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences, compliance, regulatory affairs.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and ability to clearly explain complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to FDA regulations, standards and guidance documents.
• Prepare regulatory intelligence briefings and horizon-scanning reports.
• Manage QMS documents (SOPs, forms, policies) in response to regulatory changes.
