Abbott Park, IL is seeking a Quality Program Manager to lead Abbott's Quality System efforts, providing leadership across divisions and overseeing project management for inspection readiness.

You will act as a strategic partner for third-party inspections, guiding internal teams on compliance and driving risk management and regulatory readiness. A Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of managerial quality/inspection experience are required; base pay ranges from $129,300 to $258,700 yearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of managerial/supervisory experience in Quality Assurance and/or Compliance and/or Analytical Laboratories and/or Manufacturing and/or Operations.
• Fundamental understanding of regulatory inspections and quality systems.
• Proven technical project leader with emphasis in Inspection Management and Regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction for furthering the development of the Abbott-wide Inspection Readiness Program.
• Act as a strategic partner for ensuring business locations are effective in the full life cycle of a third party inspection (preparation, execution, and response).
• Provide direction and consultation for third-party inspections including identification and review of outstanding issues, facilitating inspections, liaison training, and promoting effective inspection facilitation.
• Assess and provide meaningful feedback regarding compliance status and the effectiveness of management teams and related systems.
• Provide scheduling and detailed project tasks for sub-teams to ensure milestones are implemented.
• Review and support creative solutions to key topics and utilize risk management principles.
• Maintain strategic focus on emerging regulations and their impact on Abbott’s success.
• Serve as a Technical Advisor, Consultant, or Subject Matter Expert for internal and external stakeholders.
