Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.
  • Three years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Leads quality improvement initiatives using clinical data to standardize care, reduce variation, and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Implements and refines quality initiatives aligned with executive direction, KPIs, and external benchmarking.
  • Develops and aligns quality strategies across programs while supporting system and regional priorities.
  • Prepares and presents updates and analysis on external quality ratings and ranking programs relevant to the organization.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with providers, teams, and executive leaders; educates and supports adoption of improvements.
  • Serves as a clinical and systems resource, supporting Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and external quality reporting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This role will be a mix of meetings, (prep, lead and attend) along with preparing data, pulling reports from external and internal sources, preparing reports, patient level chart reviews, educate individuals and teams.

Job Summary

Works with executive leaders, clinicians and other staff in the development and implementation of strategies to identify and reduce risks, improve quality and safety, and meet regulatory requirements.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
