Job summary

Pretium Packaging is hiring a Packer. You will inspect finished plastic products for defects, package them to specifications, and label with accurate product information and warning labels.

You will help maintain production-line efficiency, report quality concerns to supervisors, keep a clean, safe workspace, and manage packaging-material inventory with timely replenishment.

This is a full-time, direct-hire role with benefits, PTO, 401(k) matching, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing/packaging experience preferred.
• Must have strong attention to detail and defect-detection skills.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
