Job summary

The Cottages is seeking a part-time Quality of Life Coordinator (Activity Coordinator) to enhance residents' daily lives with engaging activities. The role requires compassion, friendliness, and a passion for seniors; you should be self-driven and able to work well in a team.

Experience is helpful but love for seniors is essential. You will plan in-home and community activities, create calendars, and coordinate events with vendors while maintaining a welcoming home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Great attitude, compassion and sincere desire to help others.
• Ability to take direction, follow rules, be proactive and thoughtful.
• Criminal history check completed successfully.
• Post-offer drug test required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun environment for residents.
• Plan activities in the home and in the community.
• Create monthly activity calendars.
• Create personalized and group activities for all residents.
• Oversee activity petty cash.
• Coordinate external vendors for entertainment.
• Help coordinate and plan special events.

We believe that a great activity program increases the quality of life of the residents we care for each day, and we are looking for someone who feels the same. Are you self-driven, and can you work well in a team setting? You may be the person we are looking for!

The Cottages provides care for our senior population to help them live safely and independently in a home-like setting. We only want people who want to love our seniors. Experience is a plus, but love is a must!
