Dechra Fort Worth, TX is seeking a QC Microbiologist to enhance microbiology testing in a cGMP environment. You will perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and support regulatory documentation.

The role emphasizes environmental monitoring, aseptic techniques, and SOP development, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to quality systems. Fort Worth-based, full-time position in a GMP setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science (Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working within GLP and GMP-regulated environments.
• Ability to accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of USP chapters and regulatory requirements related to microbiological testing.
• Familiarity with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to cGMP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Initiate Laboratory Investigation, Deviations, Change Controls, CAPAs, and related reviews in Veeva.
• Undertake microbiological analysis of materials, intermediates, finished products, stability samples, water samples and environmental monitoring.
• Review analyses and facilitate corrections.
• Identify and update methodologies and best practices.
• Perform weekly water sampling and testing (conductivity, TOC, total coliforms, APC).
• Perform Environmental Monitoring and microbial ID.
• Prepare media, track inventory, and use autoclave.
• Write, review, revise SOPs.
• Perform physical testing on QC samples.
• Support the QC Manager and Chemists.
• Abide by Dechra values and interact professionally with others.
• May perform other duties on an ad-hoc basis.
