Job summary

NSG Group, based in Shelbyville, IN, seeks an experienced Quality Leader to drive manufacturing quality across a 24/7 automotive glass operation. You will lead safety, process improvements, and audits while coordinating with customer teams and suppliers.

Experience with APQP and FMEA.

Responsibilities

Lead team to apply 10 Key Safety Leadership Behaviors for safe high-quality output.
Create safe work environment and implement injury prevention systems.
Drive preventive actions for issue resolution.
Translate customer requirements into production specs and FMEAs.
Guide hourly Auditor teams and internal audits.
Lead certification audits (TS/ISO, GM BIQS, Ford Q1).
Hold weekly quality improvement meetings.
Drive PDCA with cross-functional groups.
Travel to customer sites to resolve quality concerns.
Act as customer liaison for quality issues.
Support first production trials to success.
Lead and monitor PPM improvement for parts.
Lead corrective action tracking for customer audits/complaints.
