Job summary

WET (Design) in Sun Valley, CA, seeks a seasoned Quality Manufacturing Engineer to establish and evolve quality systems across our low-volume/high-complexity manufacturing environment. Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, you will define what “good” looks like—from inspection methodologies to quality management systems to shop-floor execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in quality engineering within complex manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience building, implementing, and improving QMS and quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and continually improve scalable Quality Management Systems for a custom, high-spec manufacturing environment.
• Develop and maintain inspection strategies, control plans, PFMEAs, and documentation standards.
• Lead root cause investigations for nonconformances and implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with machinists, welders, fabricators, and assembly teams to resolve issues on the shop floor.
• Track quality trends and drive continuous improvement across product and process quality.
