Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/industrial engineering.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing process or production experience.
• Lean Six Sigma training; Green Belt preferred.
• Experience with CAD/CAE software is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle or SAP is a plus.
• Experience creating SOPs and BOM/ECO management is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

(Lean Projects)* Participates in cross functional teams focused on product design improvements, new product design and field testing.* Research automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production.* Contribute to the design of tools, machinery or processes that increase productivity and efficiency.* Implements process validation plans, performs process failure mode effect analysis, and prepares control plans for manufactured and vended products.* Performs test plans for alternate materials, parts, tools or systems as necessary to introduce improvements.* Writes engineering changes and deviations to document changes to form, fit or function of production parts or manufacturing processes.* Evaluates returned goods for manufacturing defects, non-conformances, and product issues as needed.
