About Us:
Our client is a leading provider of precision machining solutions for the aerospace industry. We are looking for a dedicated Quality Manager to join our team and drive our quality assurance efforts.

Job Summary:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality systems and processes to ensure that our products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace quality standards, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Systems Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Audits and Compliance: Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact during customer and third-party audits.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues, driving problem resolution and preventative measures.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards, conduct audits, and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary liaison for quality-related communications with customers, addressing complaints, providing quality reports, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and analysis to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry..
  • Proven experience leading quality audits and managing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of driving process improvements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis.
