Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is seeking a Quality Leader to oversee QMS in a plastics injection molding and automotive environment. You will drive compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, lead audits and CAPA activities, and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to reduce defects and improve quality performance.

The role emphasizes strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and leadership of Quality Engineers and staff to sustain quality excellence across production lines.

Job description

• Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) compliant with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, HACCP, CGMP, and other applicable industry standards, ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met
• Manage quality assurance and control activities, including audits, inspections, testing, validation, PPAP approvals, PFMEAs, control plans, and process flow documentation for plastic injection molded automotive components
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality metrics and KPIs (PPM, scrap rates, defects, and customer complaints), identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA
• Lead root cause investigations, resolve non-conformities, and address customer quality concerns through effective problem-solving and sustainable corrective action plans
• Partner with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce defects, improve product quality, and enhance customer quality performance
• Supervise, train, and develop Quality Engineers and staff, promoting quality best practices, regulatory compliance, safety standards, and alignment with company quality objectives

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in quality management within manufacturing environments, preferably in plastics injection molding and automotive industries
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and standard operating procedures, with the ability to maintain compliance and drive quality excellence
• Proven expertise in conducting quality audits, inspections, and implementing effective quality systems across complex production operations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills, with experience developing corrective and preventive actions to improve quality performance
