Job summary

Flex-N-Gate is hiring a Quality Manager to lead the quality department, drive improvements, and ensure product quality to specifications. The role focuses on interview, training, development, and discipline of staff, while championing corrective actions and plant-wide quality initiatives.

You will collaborate with process engineering, support prototypes, develop data collection systems, and promote strong internal customer service. A Six Sigma mindset and leadership abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality engineering or related technology or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years in a manufacturing facility with quality focus.
• Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Understanding of strategic planning, resources, leadership, and production methods.
• Focus on customer needs and meeting quality standards.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve techniques for quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering on changes.
• Support prototype builds and data collection/reporting.
• Build and maintain morale among employees.
• Develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
