Job summary

Movement Search and Delivery is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality assurance and control functions for a North Texas manufacturing partner. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.

You will supervise a quality team, manage audits with suppliers and customers, and report quality performance to senior management. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related Engineering field preferred.
• 7+ years of work experience in quality.
• 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to address quality issues and drive improvements.
• Experience with industry standards and certifications related to quality management in manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Oversee QA and QC processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
• Manage and mentor the quality team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure product quality.
• Support customer, supplier, and other third-party audits.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure inspection and testing requirements are established and maintained for applicable products.
• Lead investigations of customer complaints, RMAs, and field quality concerns.
• Manage corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
• Lead ISO certification programs.
