Job summary

P M L Inc in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Quality Manager / IATF 16949 Management Representative to lead the QMS and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

You will ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements, lead audits, manage corrective actions, and mentor teams to uphold the highest quality standards. This role collaborates with suppliers, production, and leadership to reduce defects and improve efficiency while supporting new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
• Experience serving as a Management Representative or similar quality leadership role preferred.
• Strong understanding of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans).
• Experience leading internal audits and managing corrective action systems.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Coordinate APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and other Core Tools activities.
• Work with suppliers to address quality concerns and improve supplier performance.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to management and associates on quality-related topics.
• Participate in customer visits, quality reviews, and problem-solving activities.
• Support new product launches and engineering changes from a quality perspective.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager / IATF 16949 Management Representative to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement efforts. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 requirements, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards while driving a culture of quality throughout the organization.

The Quality Manager serves as the organization's designated IATF 16949 Management Representative and works closely with customers, suppliers, leadership, and production teams to maintain and improve quality performance.
