Job summary

NAES is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the QMS for a gas turbine refurbishment facility. You will oversee QA/QC across design, refurbishment, assembly, inspection, and testing, ensuring compliance with customer specs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive corrective actions, CAPA, and KPI reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, quality management or related field.
• Eight years of progressive quality management in manufacturing or heavy industrial settings.
• Five years in leadership roles with experience in ISO 9001 environments.
• Experience leading internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Experience supporting refurbishment of large industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) per ISO 9001 or equivalent.
• Lead QA and QC activities across manufacturing, refurbishment, repair, and testing processes.
• Establish quality policies, procedures, and process controls to ensure product quality.
• Lead supplier quality initiatives including qualification, audits, and CAPA.
• Review documentation, NDE reports, material certifications, and quality records.
• Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Manage CAPA programs and analytics to reduce defects and warranty costs.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
