Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality processes on a Data Center project in Harwood, ND. You will report project progress and needs to the Region’s Senior Quality Manager and lead safety, inspections, and program execution.

The role requires 6+ years in QA/QC across varied projects, preferred certifications (CQM-C), and ability to travel to sites in extreme climates. Proficiency in MS Office and CM software is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field and 6+ years of quality control and quality assurance experience.
• Formal QA/QC training and certification preferred (e.g., USACE CQM-C).
• Formal building envelope commissioning training preferred with awareness of NIBS Guideline 3-2013, ASTM E2813-12, and ASHRAE Guideline 0-2013.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Monitor and manage Quality related activities to contract quality requirements for multiple projects.
• Interact with client/owner, agencies, subcontractors, and internal staff on quality matters including inspections and program setup.
• Educate the owner and project team about quality requirements and monitoring.
• Provide coaching and consultation on quality-related items.
• Review project plans and specifications for quality requirements.
• Verify inspections and observations comply with contract documents.
• Oversee the development and implementation of project quality plans.
• Participate in root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Ensure corrective measures are implemented for noncompliance.
• Collaborate with project teams for pre-bid and post-bid requirements.
