Job summary

Align Aerospace LLC seeks a Quality Manager to lead our Quality Management System and ensure compliance with AS9100/AS9120 and ISO 9001. You will oversee inspections, audits, CAPA, supplier quality, and a high-performing quality team in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

You will drive root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and mentor staff while partnering with customers and suppliers to maintain confidence and achieve measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing aerospace quality systems.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100/AS9120 and ISO 9001.
• Experience with customer and contractual quality requirements and supplier quality.
• Proven ability to lead audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Data-driven with measurable quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the QMS per AS9100/AS9120 and ISO 9001.
• Manage receiving, source, delegated, first article, and final inspections.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions (8D, FMEA, Fishbone, 5-Why).
• Lead customer, supplier, certification, and internal audits.
• Champion quality metrics, data analysis, risk reduction, and CI initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, Compliance, HR, and Leadership.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing quality team.
• Maintain strong partnerships with customers and suppliers to drive results.

Great Pay!

• Starting Salary: $95,000+ per year DOE
• Annual Bonus Opportunit y: $15,000

What You'll Do

• As our Quality Manager, you'll be the driving force behind quality excellence by:
• Leading and continuously improving our AS9100/AS9120 and ISO-based Quality Management System
• Managing quality operations including receiving, source, delegated, first article, and final inspections
• Driving root cause investigations and corrective action programs using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, Fishbone, and 5-Why
• Leading customer, supplier, certification, and internal audits
• Championing quality metrics, data analysis, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, Compliance, HR, and Executive Leadership
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing quality team
• Serving as a trusted partner to customers and suppliers to maintain confidence and drive results

Extensive experience managing aerospace quality systems

• Experience leading teams, training and coaching employees, all while driving accountability and performance to new heights.
