Job summary

Guardian Industries in Richburg, SC is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across products, projects and manufacturing processes. You will partner with operations to turn data into action, prevent defects, and deliver measurable improvements in quality, reliability, and cycle time.

You’ll mentor quality specialists, champion standardized tools such as FMEA and 8D, and drive a culture of continuous improvement with cross-functional teams on the floor.

• Experience in a quality related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using standard quality tools (8D, DMAIC, FMEA, multiple RCA techniques).
• Experience leading and motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage quality issues and actively solve quality problems.
• Partner with production and cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps and implement lasting improvements.
• Perform spot checks for specific projects and recommend corrections.
• Monitor performance with project managers and product owners to ensure preventive and corrective actions yield results.
• Design and continuously improve quality processes for easier high performance.
• Coach team members on quality processes, problem-solving tools, and performance metrics.
• Evaluate and introduce quality methods and tools that improve capability and speed.
• Champion compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Apply FMEA, Pareto charts, and 8D Root Cause Analysis.
• Drive knowledge sharing by capturing best practices and lessons learned.
• Develop and support quality specialists through coaching and collaboration.

We are looking for a talented quality leader who wants to influence plant performance, strengthen customer confidence, and build a culture of continuous improvement. In this role, you will lead quality assurance across products, projects, and manufacturing processes while partnering with teams throughout the plant. What You Will Do
