We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in the field of commercial construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects meet and exceed industry quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our reputation for delivering high-quality, safe, and successful construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
  • Implement our quality assurance program for all construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and address potential quality issues during the planning and execution phases.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations, building codes, and quality standards to ensure all projects are in compliance.
  • Maintain SBGC system for tracking and documenting compliance with relevant regulations.
Quality Control:
  • Establish and enforce quality control processes to monitor construction activities and identify deviations from established standards.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to address quality issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure effective communication and resolution of quality-related concerns.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for project stakeholders, highlighting quality performance, areas of improvement, and compliance status.
  • Ensure that all quality-related documentation is organized, easily accessible, and in accordance with project requirements.
Training and Development:
  • Conduct training programs for project teams to enhance awareness and understanding of quality standards and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to project personnel to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Supplier and Subcontractor Quality Management:
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers and subcontractors based on quality performance.
  • Collaborate with procurement to establish and monitor quality requirements for materials and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
