With over $2.8 billion in annual sales and a commitment to its workforce, Kokosing is the winning team.**Job Description:****POSITION SUMMARY:**Project Based QC Manager responsible to plan, direct, supervise, and implement project quality control activities in compliance with applicable company standards and programs.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Prepare quality control procedures (work controlling documents) and review other department procedures for compliance and/or correctness.* Prepare, obtain approval, issue and implement company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.* As required by quality control program manual, perform activities such as audits, preparation of quality problems, etc.* Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel* Act as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and/or internal departments on quality related matters as required.* Ensure company standards as outlined in quality control (assurance) manual are effectively implemented.* Insure adequate corrective measures are implemented in case on noncompliance.* Assist in preparation of responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s regarding QA and QC programs.* Perform internal/external audits to ensure quality control requirements are implemented and/or maintained.**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:*** Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.* 4+ years of related/ applicable experience in quality control**KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:*** Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/quality control activities.* Excellent verbal/written communication skills required.* Demonstrated leadership, communication and strong interpersonal skills are requisite.* Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.* Strong work ethic to complete tasks in a high-quality manner.* Solid attention to detail with the ability to be a problem solver.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite**RELATIONSHIPS:**Reports to the director of Central Engineer and Quality Management and closely interacts with all levels of team members within the organization.**WORKING CONDIDITIONS:**Role will be site based, working on an active construction site. 70% of duties are performed in a temperature controlled, fluorescent-light environment, 30% of duties are performed in the field.
