Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a quality engineer to lead quality assurance activities and drive continuous improvement across production, engineering, and supply chain teams.

The role emphasizes implementing robust quality systems, conducting audits, mentoring QA staff, and maintaining data-driven metrics to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. A degree in a related field is required, and CQE/Six Sigma certifications may be preferred.

• Conduct thorough inspections and audits of production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues, resolve non-conformances, and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for efficiency gains, and areas for process optimization, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range: $45,300.00 - $67,900.00

Work Shift

The C Shift supports operations on every other Wednesday and every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 6 am- 6pm.

Purpose Statement

To ensure product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement through effective leadership, meticulous oversight, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, ultimately contributing to the delivery of exceptional products and customer satisfaction.

Key Job Accountabilities

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field such as quality management, industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred.

Other Qualifications

• Certifications such as a Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, or Six Sigma may be preferred or required.

Physical Requirements

• Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
