Job summary

Eastern Metal Supply seeks a Quality Lead to ensure aluminum products meet EMS and customer specifications. You will inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, perform tests, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across EMS distribution and manufacturing environments.

You will audit inspection activities, verify dimensional accuracy, and document results per ISO standards while collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Reading, writing and communication in English effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Audit workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure productivity and integrity.
• Inspect incoming inventory for defects and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
• Perform mechanical and visual tests using precision instruments.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records per ISO standards.
• Identify non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with ASTM, ISO, and customer requirements.
• Participate in 6S, Lean, and Six Sigma continuous improvement projects.
• Keep areas clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
