Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with lab procedures and data recording.
• Ability to multitask and use computer software.

Responsibilities

• Test rubber compounds using instruments (rheometer, tensometer) and perform basic property testing.
• Prepare documentation of results for quality control.
• Notify the Chemist when samples don’t meet standards.
• Load rubber preps/LSR on molds and operate automated press.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
