CORMETECH INC is seeking a Quality Lab Associate to join our Durham NC/Cleveland TN operations. The role focuses on testing raw materials, catalyst properties, batch characteristics, and finished goods audits to ensure compliance with quality plans.

You will prepare samples, manage data, and support quality audits on a rotating schedule. The ideal candidate will have a science-related associate degree or 2+ years lab experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a science field or 2+ years of laboratory experience.
• Certification in Mixing, Activation or FGI.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with quality control measurements and document control.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, catalyst strength, geometry, physical properties, batch characteristics and finished goods audits.
• Prepare samples and coordinate shipment for offsite testing or with third-party vendors.
• Maintain accurate data records and ensure adherence to established methodologies and control plans.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas located on the manufacturing floor.
• Document activities and results in electronic and manual files; communicate findings as needed.
• Perform audits of workmanship, processes, and QC documentation; support corrective actions as required.
