Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Laboratory Assistant to support QA activities. You will perform laboratory testing on materials and products, maintain accurate records in SAP, and help ensure our products meet quality standards and customer expectations.

The role includes operating testing equipment, assisting with calibration, and acting as deputy for the Quality Manager when needed. Monday–Friday schedule and a safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office, SAP, and statistical software.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and quality manuals.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, finished products, and competitors for conformance.
• Release or reject materials based on specifications.
• Operate quality testing equipment as needed.
• Enter results into SAP and other data systems.
• Report test results to relevant personnel.
• Assist staff in identifying and reporting quality issues.
• Handle non-conforming materials and communicate findings.
• Calibrate procedures and lab equipment as required.
• Act as deputy for Quality Manager when needed.
• Support a team environment across departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
