Job summary

Actalent in Lubbock, TX is seeking Laboratory Technicians to support seed quality testing. This contract role offers hands-on duties in agricultural lab work, inspecting samples, running basic tests, and documenting results.

Start date is August 2026 and the position may lead to long-term employment. Regular hours Monday–Friday with potential for overtime during peak seasons; $17 per hour; onsite work with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Natural Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Passport or Birth Certificate required for onboarding.

What You’ll Do

Schedule

• Regular Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Peak Season (Nov–Jan): Must be open to 1st or 2nd shift, overtime, and weekend work
• Up to 50 hours/week during busy seasons

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
