Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ seeks a Quality Lab Technician to support the QC chemistry lab with basic wet-chemistry techniques, data entry in LIMS, and strong attention to detail.

You will help maintain lab cleanliness, organize documentation, and assist with equipment maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires an Associates in chemistry (0–2 years) and good communication to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily QC chemistry lab functions using basic wet-chemistry techniques.
  • Maintain glassware cleanliness and lab cleanliness across the site.
  • Organize notebooks and offsite storage documentation per SOPs.
  • Record data in LIMS and other systems accurately and timely.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory control.

Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing active physical technical and organizational support to ensure the smooth operation of the quality chemistry lab

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performsduties in support of the day-to-day functions of the QC Chemistry Laboratory,including, but not limited tobasic use of balances, pHmetersand other wet chemistry techniques.
  • Responsiblefor glassware cleaning and general lab cleanliness.
  • Responsiblefor the management and offsite storage of laboratory notebooks and file folders
  • Interfaceswith laboratory information management systems to enter data asrequired
  • Performsother related duties and responsibilities as assigned by a lab supervisor/manager. Responsible for completion of work as assigned.
  • Accuratelyand clearly documents inspection and test results in accordancetodepartment and site SOPs.

Storeslab supplies and reagents and conducts physical inventories.

  • Performequipment maintenance asrequired.
  • Accuratelyorganizes notebooks and file folders. Preparesappropriate documentationfor offsite storage.
Communications & Working Relationships
  • Interact with scientists in lab to ensure scientist needs are accommodated
  • Interact with supervisors (shared resource for 2) todetermineday-to-day responsibilities
  • Interact with management teamsupervisors + manager + Sr. Leadership (asappropriate)todiscussconcerns and suggestions for improvement
Qualifications:

Required :
  • Possess basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and can use a calculator.
  • Demonstrates good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and perform workin a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment withgood communicationskills and ability to communicate effectively with peers, departmentmanagementand production personnel.
  • Knowledge of computer systems at a level proficientto navigateinput and/or reference computerized data.
  • Must have sound judgment and basic analytical skills to enable assessment of risk to issues related to monitoring of the manufacturing floor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity withcGMPs, CFR, and the USP or other monographs in a professional environment
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems
Experience
  • Minimum: Associates degree in chemistrywith 0-2years experience
  • Preferred: Associates degree in chemistry with 0-2 years experience, actively seeking or intending to seek a four-year degree
Skills and Physical Requirements:
  • Walk or move about safely in a plant environment 1-3 miles/day
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Ability to manipulaterepetitivelysyringes, vials, stoppers, or other medical devices.
Compensation:

Base Salary : $25/Hour. The compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, work location, prior experience and job-related knowledge, relevant skills and expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The Talent Acquisition team can provide more details about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
