Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Quality Lab Tech to assist day-to-day laboratory operations and perform inspections of final products and equipment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to quality procedures in a manufacturing setting.

You will support plant operations, document control, and meet shipping deadlines while upholding Dyno Nobel values and Zero Harm principles. A strong analytical mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Chemistry, Science, or related field desired.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• 2+ years laboratory experience desired.
• Must possess strong analytical skills.
• Strong computer application skills.
• Must be willing to undergo ATF background check as required to be possessor of explosives.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day laboratory operations and inspect final products in accordance with quality procedures.
• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to Zero Harm through safety behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
• Live and foster Dyno Nobel corporate values.
• Provide laboratory support to plant operations.
• Provide document control support for all lab operations.
• Understand work pace and shipping deadlines.
• Report abnormal test results to management.
• Place product on hold and request resampling.
• Reject product that is out of tolerance.
• Ensure all information provided is accurate and timely.
