Job summary

Lancaster Lab is seeking a Quality Laboratory Chemist I to strengthen our quality control team in Lancaster, SC. You will evaluate finished products and raw materials, learning methods in the first 30–60 days before taking on independent testing and projects.

The role requires hands-on QC experience, strong HPLC proficiency, and the ability to prepare and review laboratory reports while maintaining accurate records and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
• At least three years of hands-on quality control laboratory testing experience.
• Practical HPLC experience and the ability to follow written methods accurately with increasing independence.
• Experience preparing laboratory reports, peer-reviewing results, and managing projects alongside routine testing.
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform release, stability, and special-request testing of finished-product and raw-material samples.
• Record results, prepare reports, review colleagues' work, and support investigations.
• Train on additional instruments as needed and broaden testing scope.
• Maintain a safety-first laboratory and ensure equipment is properly calibrated.
• Support project deadlines while adapting to changing priorities.
