Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Quality & Inventory Lead for the Weekend Day Shift in Lockbourne, OH. In this role you will establish and publish weekly inventory counts, audits, and schedules, coordinating with warehouse supervisors to allocate resources.

You will lead audit activity, generate analyses in Excel, and ensure accuracy across accounts. This full-time position offers benefits and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6+ years of related work experience.
  • 6+ years of industry-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily.
  • Directs and leads personnel assigned to audits and inventory counts; provides analyses and statistics in reports.
  • Spot audits involving unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping with documentation in Excel.
  • Interacts with supervisors to identify trends or corrective actions.
  • Read and respond to emails in a timely fashion.

Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Establishes and publishes weekly inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules.
  • Communicates and coordinates inventory count, spot audit, and quality audit schedules with Warehouse Supervisors daily – so that supervisors can assign necessary product, equipment, and human resources needed to complete schedule.
  • Directs and leads the work of any personnel assigned to the quality audits and/or inventory counts by the Warehouse Supervisors Provides daily written and electronic copies of analysis and statistics of inventory count and quality audits results.
  • Spot audit unloading, receiving, checking, locating, packing, and shipping personnel for all accounts and documents the results in an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Interacts with supervisors and leads to identify trends, processes, or people that require corrective action.
  • Read and respond to all emails in a timely fashion.
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
  • Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand
  • Regular attendance and punctuality as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location is required

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent audit skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Must have the ability to work in a cooperative, team-oriented environment
  • Strong skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Working knowledge of inventory quality control requirements, and industry standards.
  • Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 6 or more years of related work experience.
  • 6 or more years of industry related experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas
